NLH MONASTIRAKI hotel is a lovingly restored, 3-storey neoclassical building with 36 charmingly appointed rooms with a history as rich as the city itself. The neoclassical building was the headquarters of a renowned, bespoke tailor who counted Athens’ best dressed gents among its clients, and also housed fabric makers, a bank and even a hotel.
The architecture of the building evokes Athens’ glorious past as a thriving commercial hub. The building itself is an architectural marvel, with carved balconies looking on to jacaranda trees that line the bustling Athinas street.
Its stone-walled exterior and vaulted high ceilings lend to its timeless appeal.
